AH-1 SuperCobra Squardon Patch

160th Squadron – “First Attack Helicopter Squadron” Patch (Until 2013)

This emblem represents the 160th Squadron, known for decades as the IDF’s First Attack Helicopter Squadron. Until its closure on August 2, 2013, the squadron operated AH‑1 Cobra (“Tzefa”) attack helicopters from Palmahim Airbase.

Throughout its years of activity, the squadron was widely recognized by several names: “The First Attack Helicopter Squadron,” “The First Cobra Squadron,” and “The Southern Cobra Squadron.”

Since 2018, the squadron has transitioned to operating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) as part of its modern operational role.

This emblem is a unique collectible that honors the legacy, history, and combat heritage of one of the Israeli Air Force’s most iconic squadrons.
