Bahad 20 Unit Enamel pin. (Until 2016)

The official shoulder patch of Bahad 20, the training base of the IDF Ordnance Corps (today the Technology and Maintenance Corps). The base served as the central school for training soldiers and commanders in the technological, maintenance, and logistical professions of the IDF.

Bahad 20 was originally located at Camp Tzrifin before being relocated to the Ariel Sharon Training base (“Ir HaBahadim”) in the Negev.

This unit Enamel pin. was discontinued in 2016, following the relocation of the base from Camp Tzrifin to the Ariel Sharon Training Base.

Base Roles & Purpose

• Training soldiers and commanders – Professional courses, certifications, and refresher training for combat‑support personnel and the technological corps across all IDF branches: Ground Forces, Air Force, and Navy
• Core fields of expertise – Electronics, electro‑optics, vehicle mechanics and electrical systems, weapons and ammunition, IT and C4I systems, inventory management, hydraulics, metalwork, and more

Structure & Training Tracks

• Basic professional courses – Technical training for mandatory‑service soldiers immediately after basic training
• Command and officer tracks – Commander courses and professional officer training for the Technology and Maintenance Corps
• Advanced studies & academic programs – Technician and engineering‑technician programs, as well as advanced certifications for career soldiers and reservists
