Battalion 607, HAMPATZ Battalion pin Bagde.
607 Hampatz Battalion - an acronym for "Obstacle Clearance, Flats, and Mechanized" (in Hebrew)- was established in 2024 during the Iron Swords War and is operationally subordinate to the Givati Brigade. 
The battalion began the establishment process in light of the lessons of the Iron Sword War and the lack of a regular engineering force.
