A fighter pin of the multidimensional unit "Ghosts" (Unit 888).

The  Ghost unit is a special combat unit in the IDF, operating under the BAZAK Formation.

The unit was established during the year 2019 at the initiative of Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi, as part of the multi-year program "Momentum" as part of the IDF's assessments for fighting on the future battlefield.

The multidimensional unit is a model unit for future changes in combat units and is designed to fight in all combat arenas and on any terrain route according to its changing characteristics and challenges, while serving as a multi-armed maneuvering force with a high combat capability to locate, expose and destroy the enemy.

Unit 888 is also trained and functions as a commando unit, although it is not part of the Oz Brigade.
