About the IDF Combat Medic Course
This emblem represents a graduate of the IDF Combat Medic Course.
The course lasts four months and includes both theoretical and practical training.
Theoretical studies include:
Anatomy, trauma, routine and emergency care, medications, CBRN (chemical/biological/radiological/nuclear), resuscitation methods, and field surgical assistance.
Practical training includes:
Administering injections, inserting IV lines, treating single casualties, managing mass‑casualty scenarios, deploying a battalion‑level casualty collection station (TAC — Triage & Aid Group), and more.
The course is conducted at Bahad 10, the IDF Medical Corps training base, where soldiers from all branches come to receive medical training.
