About IDF Snipers
A sniper is a trained marksman specializing in long‑range precision shooting, typically beyond 100 meters.
Infantry companies usually include one or more snipers who engage predetermined targets.
IDF snipers undergo several months of intensive training, including daily shooting at varying distances, angles, weather conditions, and especially wind environments.
A sniper must also be capable of observing a target both through the scope and outside the scope, while accurately estimating distance and bullet deviation at long ranges.
