Israeli Defense Forces RED instructors string Aiguillette fourragère

The Red string Aiguillette fourragère is a military award and used by:

1. The Israeli Army Orchestra IDF band musicians for during ceremonies only; it is worn on the right shoulder or on the hat. 2. Used by a trainee during training or basic training.

The IDF and the Israel Police, String ("string", Aiguillette) is part of the regular uniforms both work clothes and holiday clothes.

IDF drawstring / fourragère color indicates the Job or training of a soldier who wears it and is usually worn on the left shoulder.

Used mostly by soldiers who fill different instruction Jobs in the IDF.
