Paramedic pin

This pin is granted to a soldier who graduated the medics course.

The course lasts 4 months and divided to two parts: Theoretical and Practical.

The theoretical part includes Anatomy, Trauma, routine and emergency care, medicines, biological and chemical effects, resuscitation and simple operations (as assistance to field doctors).

In the practical part the corpsman is trained to inject medicines and IV, treatment of a single injured through treatment of numerous of wounded people simultaneously in the battle field.

The course takes place in the medical school base (Bah"ad 10) and trains soldiers from all units for the purposes above.
