Pathfinder pin.
The IDF scouting unit was established in 1970.
With the establishment of the unit it was deployed in the Negev, Arava and Sinai area and contained 5 companies. Today, the unit contains several hundred soldiers.
The unit's soldiers are completing 12 years of study and are integrated after their release from the IDF in academic studies at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
