The IPS - Israel Prison Service ("Shabas" in Hebrew), is the prison service of Israel.
It is responsible for maintaining civilian prisons in Israel, as well as some security prisons containing Palestinian detainees.
It is under the jurisdiction of the Internal Security ministry.
