Judea and Samaria District / SHAY District is responsible for the area from Mount Hebron in the south to the Megiddo Junction in the north and is the second largest police district in terms of area.

The district was established in September 1994 and includes two areas:

1. The Judean area.
2. Samaria region.

In the district, the police mechanism for coordination and cooperation between the Israel Police and the Palestinian Police (Mttash) operates, the head of the mechanism is subordinate to the district commander.

The district headquarters is located in Mevasheret Adumim since 2007.
