Description
Shahar battalion (DAWN) was established in 2008, under the command of the Home Front Command Jerusalem District, composed of 3 rescue companies called: Shavit, Hetz Arrow)and Rotem.
The Troops are engaged in search and rescue in various emergency situations, and events Bk"n (non-conventional) such as gas events.
Search and Rescue Brigades team used disaster preparedness events in Israel and abroad.
Also battalion soldiers occupy the national gas alert.
The soldiers go through basic training and then 03 talented courses take about 4 months Corkscrew 07 and detoxifier 07.
The training takes place at the base of training soldiers of the Home Front Command (Beter Zikkim former).
