The 613th Hashmonaim Brigade pin.

The ultra-Orthodox Hashmonaim Brigade Badge.

The 613th Hashmonaim Brigade (the Jew orthodox religious Brigade) is a regular infantry brigade under the Training and Education Command.
The brigade operates within a framework that allows the orthodox religious Jew soldier to serve in the IDF while fully maintaining his lifestyle and ensuring that his religious identity is preserved, including gender separation, prayer and Torah study times, strictly kosher food, and an environment adapted to the values of the soldiers.
The brigade was established in the wake of the High Court of Justice ruling regarding the conscription of yeshiva students and the process of enacting the Conscription Law during the Iron Swords War.
The total strength of the Haredi brigade in the IDF will be approximately 3,000 soldiers. The brigade will include three battalions of Haredi soldiers, two regular infantry battalions that include full service, and another Haredi reserve battalion (Phase B) in 07 Rifleman training, a special maneuvering infantry.

The training of the ultra-Orthodox reserve fighters will take about seven months, and will be at the level of 07 riflemen. After that, they will occupy a line for two months, be released, and be called up for reserve service according to the needs of the army.
