Wingate Training Base (Training Base No. 8) is a combat fitness school located at the Wingate Institute near the sea beach, which is subordinate to the IDF's combat fitness array.

Wingate Training Base authorizes all the Training roles functions of the Israeli Army fitness array and organizes training and courses on the subject.

Wingate Training Base holds training sessions, training for elite units and IDF championships in a variety of sports for commanders, soldiers and entire units.

The base headquarters set itself the goal of instilling the importance of proper nutrition and physical activity to all IDF personnel.
