Zippo Lighter item # 200 I LOVE ISRAEL DESIGN Brushed Chrome with Israeli Flag waving in the shape of a heart Print, Brand new in box.

Zippo # 200 with Israeli Flag waving in the shape of a heart Print.

The flag of Israel was adopted on October 28, 1948, five months after the establishment of the State of Israel. The flag depicts a blue Star of David on a white background, between two horizontal blue stripes.

The two horizontal blue stripes along the flag symbolize the prayer shawl of the Jewish people.

The color blue is taken from the Temple high priest shawl.

The Magen David ( Shield / Star of David) is Hexagram (Six-Pointed Star), which are two equilateral triangles on each - the top edge upward, bottom edge and down - creating a structure of six equilateral triangles attached to the ribs hexagon. According to Jewish traditions and others, this icon was painted or engraved on the defenders of King David's warriors. Another version of the symbol, which only five vertices (Pentagram) is known as the "Seal of Solomon".
